Grunden og bygningerne på den gamle frugtplantage, indskriver sig en kontekst af traditionelle husmandssteder. Et bakket landskab, med læhegn, skove og marker, som hist og her åbner op til større vider, hvor sadeltage i klynger putter sig i landskabet.
Den nye bolig er placeret i samspil med de eksisterende bygninger tilknyttet plantagen. Det gamle frugtlager er transformeret til garage, kontor og showroom. Boligens orienteringen er vendt mod haven og væk fra vejen. Placeringen af huset og bearbejdningen af landskabet, iscenesætter de nye gårdrum, hjørner med læ og udsigtspunkter. Niveauspringene i landskabet omkring bygningerne er fremhævet i belægningen samt trukket med indenfor, hvor de danner nye rumligheder.
